Greenaway challenge!

Hi Alan reporting. Had a go at above today. Wind was SW light near clubhouse but F3-4 around Buoy. Sailing my trusty Minisail.

Little late starting about 20 minutes after high tide. Difficult to visualize start line so am changing it to an extension of the northern wall of the clubhouse. Slow start in light winds too close to the pontoon then broad reach in strengthening breeze through narrows proper breeze then had me sitting out hard and crashing along. Buoy clearly visible tacked around and headed back. Hoped to get back in one but had to put in a short tack to avoid sandbar.

Wind rather flucky in channel then off we went again. Sand clearly visible so stayed down the middle till opposite clubhouse and failed to hit stop button on watch so track and time reflect additional tacking back to slipway.

Hope to try again Monday but forecast wind SE may be tricky!
